Absolutely wonderful. One of the best J&W books - and that's saying something!

I wish I lived in this world, I'll bet it's so nice to be rich and stupid
funny relaxing medium-paced

As usual its' my pleasure to read some Wodehouse. Jeeves and Bertram wooster go back to Totleigh towers for another misadventure. They do not completely come out unscratched and the mission is not quite complete.

A hoot.

Jeeves escapes marriage once again.

Loved it. I’ve been in a funk. This was on my bookshelf. Perfect! Home alone, I laughed out loud every time I sat down with Jeeves. Excellent medicine for the blues. I really appreciated the detailed description of another time and place, especially here and now.

3.5 stars. I listened to the audiobook, brilliantly narrated by Jonathan Cecil.
At times I had difficulty following all the shenanigans and therefore it got a little tedious (I’d prefer short stories I think). However, I am obsessed with how PGW uses language and manages to make almost every sentence humorous.

2007:

"Jeeves, you wonderful bastard! And Bertie, you adorable moron. A great read for any fan, although not a masterpiece like Code of the Woosters."
