A bit boring honestly. This duology took the miscommunication trope way too far; if people could sit down and have one conversation so much of this would have been unnecessary.  The ending was sweet and I saw a hint at a potential future story about Jude visiting underwater.... fingers crossed for that. While I love and reread the cruel prince trilogy often I don't think I will return to this one.
