An easy fantasy read with a predictable plot. I wish I cared about the characters more, but they all felt rather one-dimensional. The romance seemed sort of forced and wasn't given much time to grow. It just didn't do much for me.

I was so happy to be back into this world after reading Blood & Steel series. The way he calls her Wildfire! Ahhhhh!! Their banter was everything! I love how sassy and bold Drue is standing up to every quip Talemir has thrown her way. This was literally every trope I needed for an incredible romantasy.

I loved my first dive into Thezmarr.

Drue was just the type of strong FMC that I love. Talemir was the perfect mix of strength and vulnerablity.

Their banter was fun and their heat was hot! I loved that he let her be her. Didn’t try to control or stop her.

Very excited to start Blood and Steel!
