When I finished Forever, it left a Cole- and Isabel-shaped hole in my chest. I wanted more from them, but I quickly resolved that I would never see or hear from the two of them again.

So imagine the joy I felt when I heard about this book, when I held it in my hands, when it filled that hole. It was wonderful and it left me satisfied with everything.

Except for the fact that the series should have been the Cole and Isabel Show the whole time but oh well at least we got at about a book and a half's worth of the Cole and Isabel Show and I can feel content with that forever. Snerk. Forever.

Just found out about this today at the bookstore and I'm so freaking excited! I loved this series so much and I can't wait to read more about Cole

What a depressing read. Sad depressing thoughts, unhappy lives, dark perceptions, out of nowhere ending that tried to make LA seem like a cesspool of the world.

Cole, the suicidal addict werwolf rock star and now TV reality star, is not a very interesting character. He fell flat for this reader. He had so much drama, he was so unhappy, and most of it was his doing. He was also rude, mean, and quick to slit the throats of innocents who thought him special. He enjoyed upsetting the balance of others, watching their discomfort. I disliked him completely.
Isabel was immature, spoiled, and a bitch. She stormed around spewing her thoughts about her parents situation like she was the Queen of all. She treated her parents, her family with disgust. The chip on her shoulder told her the world owed her and she should know that. Wow, I really wanted to shake her hard. Then there was the whole let's see if I can tweak-a jerk with the bosses HUSBAND, yes the husband. She had temper tantrums when things weren't as she wanted, she snapped at people, and she was just a little snit. She never got her own head out of her bum. Oh, then after all that stomping and roaring about how she was not... she did that in the end ? What ???
The ending was so ridiculous, the whole book was a waste of time. The sudden and unbuilt ending was a slam out of left field with nobody throwing the ball ? Why did this happen, what happened between calling Baby and that final return of the item ? WHAT ?!?!?!?!??!
Was there a wolf in this ? I heard about it but it wasn't added in it was silly teenage lovo-lusto drama with abusive tendencies. I guess you can see that I did not enjoy this book. I really liked the others in the series this one was so different it didn't work for me.

As a standalone with characters from her Shiver series this book was everything about love that I wanted it to be but seemed to downplay the rules of her previous books. This story focused on emotion and finding yourself and it's beautiful for that but if you're looking for more wolves this book isn't it. Overall it was still a enjoyable read and Stiefvater knows how to capture emotions so well

A great ending to the series. I was skeptical going in but Cole pulls it around in this book. It was a emotional roller coster. Some parts made you feel like crying and other there was a overwhelming sense of hope. The ending was a little abrupt but it pulled it off. The only reason it is not a 5 star is that the beginning was a little slow and was hard to follow. Things just didn't start happening till latter in and it was hard to tell the the plot of the book was till half way through it. Still loved the book though. Would very much recommend for others who loved the first 3 books.

Dnf'd at 15% through the audiobook. I normally love Maggie's writing but the perspective of Isabelle made me really angry and I just could make myself enjoy her pov chapters.

it was nice. I really like Isabel and Cole but this story was lacking something, suspense, something that was so tangible through shiver, linger and forever (which I've reread even after going to wikipedia hah). I still love it. all of it.

and also I really like these new covers they're so beautifully colored I'm crying.

This was not the best book, and was not always entertaining, but it was nice to have a book focusing on Isabel and Cole. The book did have parts that were exciting and made you want to know more, but it did not always have interesting chapters.

When I first met Cole in "The Wolves of Mercy Falls" trilogy, I needed to hear more from him. This companion novel is everything I wanted.

Once the festive season was over and I had time to sit down and read, I inhaled this book, every last delicious piece.

Well done Maggie!

I loved this book and these two. They were so impossible and fucked up but loved each other so much. I am having a lot of feelings about this book but lacking the words.
