Four stars just for the survival story alone! Weathers was left for dead on Everest but somehow managed to survive anyway. It's an incredible testament to our ability to survive. Wow.
If you are obsessed with memoirs about overcoming obstacles or obsessed with Everest survival this is a book for you. Have you read "Into Thin Air" by Jon Krakauer and need more? Read this. Otherwise, it is a bit of a haphazard story with direct quotes from other people in his life strewn throughout.
