Enemies to lover/ fake dating / Slow burn
I love Snark, especially British snark and this book is chock full of it. Well done banter is one of my favorite things.
Lainey is fantastic. She has no problem putting Richard in his place.
Richard has learned to live behind a wall of assholery and now he’s paying for it. His agent has decided that his character needs to rehabbed and dating a well loved actress is an easy way to do that.
I loved these two. The slow burn is so well done. They reveal themselves in stages and the tension ratchets up perfectly.
I plan to read this entire series.

Originally read in 2016, re-read 2017. Maybe enjoyed even more the second time around? A nice love story with interesting characters and some good depth. Odd that neither of the main charcaters have friends, though. Also wish the cover model had red hair since that is mentioned often in the story.

He was such a grump lmao.

Lucy also is so good at writing chemistry between the characters, she just makes you believe they are soulmates, I love it. And all the small touches the characters have

pertama tama, buku ini ditulis dari bahasa pihak ke tiga, which i'm not fond, buku dari narator pihak ketiga itu confusing karena he and she-nya bingung refer ke siapa :( sama kaya American Dirt nya Alessandra Torre yang ditulis dari mata pihak ke-3 ga terlalu ngerti. ditambah ini buku UK-author agak aneh aneh bahasanya HUAA

but this book is REALLY GOOD! really good! Richard Troy very alpha-y banget banget dan yang paling gue suka adalah heroine-nya FIERCE AF! i love fierce heroine

so 4 stars it is :)

This is basically my ideal contemporary romance. Fake relationship + enemies to lovers trope mania. Moody British heartthrob meets spunky smart ass girl next door type. Parker’s language allows it to be fresh and interesting and sexy without going too far into P+P fanfic or something we’ve read before. I laughed and sighed a lot. Honestly, one of the only ones of recent memory that I think would do well as a movie. Heart eyes all day.

I'd heard this was a good series but I found this book a complete snooze.

Two stars since I did finish it, but honestly, I shouldn't have.

This was so cute and funny. It is so hard not to fall in love with the main characters, and it felt very natural for them to get together. I would have liked to read more of their relationship before it fell into melodrama at the end. The ending was a bit of a let down, but all in all a really fun book.
