Another great addition to this series I live the ward family so much these books are just the most enjoyable, fun and lighthearted reads.
i’ll literally never get over the ward family, so here’s my official request for Karla to keep writing about them through their children forever & ever, amen.
Jude & lia are my new favorites in this secondary ward world (like, nothing will ever beat paige & logan, you know?) & this book REALLLLLLLY knocked it out of the park. i cried. i laughed. i wanted to have a baby!! haha what the heck are you doing to me, Karla.
This ones a surprise pregnancy (which i usually am not a fan of) but it’s done so well & the struggle between the couple & their impending parenthood never felt forced or totally not realistic. I loved seeing the ward family throughout the entirety of it, but truthfully it was Lia & Jude’s relationship that makes this whole book.
if you love sport romances, family’s who are big & loud, emotions that are heavy but important, & football players (of both kind) than pick this one up!
Thanks to Karla for the arc. all thoughts are my own!

4/5
Another great story from Sorensen! I was the last excited for Lia’s story but she changed my mind! I loved getting to know her and Jude.
Both had to work through their own issues, but I loved that they had each other.

Going into this book I knew it was going to be a surprise pregnancy and if I’m being honest I’m not the hugest fan of this troupe but Karla Sorensen delivered with Floored. I was hooked from the first page until the very end of the book. The story with the surprise pregnancy was great and the banter between Lia and Jude was hilarious. And as usual, I enjoyed getting to catch up with the entire Ward clan! Seeing how much this family loves and supports each other is always a treat. (Logan’s reaction to finding out Lia was pregnant had me cackling
"The back and forth of the game is what makes it so beautiful,"
Floored was such a sweet and emotional read. I always think I’ll get through a story about a Ward sister without crying, and it hasn’t happened quite yet. I just love that family. Lia and Jude do their love story all backwards, but somehow it works for them. Of course there’s some angst, there usually is with unexpected pregnancy trope, but honestly the way these two just go together was perfect to me. I did get a little sad at how some things in their relationship worked or didn’t, but overall I loved this couple and their story!

I have really enjoyed this series, the author does a great job keeping the series/characters connected BUT not repeating the same story four separate times so you def won't loose interest. This book is one of my favorite tropes... unplanned baby (not a spoiler it's the first line in the book blog) and is super well done. I also love that this series isn't focused on their relationship just working out perfectly and smoothly, there is a unique path to get to the HEA
Was nervous about how the whole pregnancy thing would play out, but actually really enjoyed it
Lia and Jude are cute and I loved the premise of this story - the whole international romance had me swooning ~hard~. Especially the lil rivalry over American football vs football/soccer. The issue I had with the story was that their relationship problem towards the end felt a bit confusing? Maybe it just went over my head but sometimes they'd argue and I'd know the gist of what they were saying but not get all the individual problems that they were talking about... I do like that their relationship had more time to develop and that we got to see their texts and conversations. Lia and Jude felt a bit like cookie cutter characters but I didn't hate it.

Like I really don't get why Jude's argument with his parents triggered Lia that bad to the point where she just left. I know that the main problem derives from neither of them being able to open up about their traumas but there was another aspect to the problem that I literally couldn't understand.
I was hooked from the very first sentence. Karla Sorensen has a knack for writing entertaining scenes with fabulous banter into her books even during some serious situations. One night turned into so much more for Lia and Jude but the evolution of their relationship and themselves as people made me not want to put the book down and kept me rooting for them to work things out. I felt all the emotions Lia and Jude felt from the happy times to when they had to make the hard choices that hurt.
Jude was fun and full of hot distractions then he grew into a man who made me swoon from how thoughtful he was and how he pushed himself to be a better person for his child. The Wards step up for Lia and how supportive they are just make you love them even more than you did before and in every choice Lia makes you can see her upbringing and siblings in her every choice. I really think these two are my favorite couple from these sisters so far.
