Only Karla Sorensen could get me to like a book featuring a trope that I hate. Lia felt more mature than Jude but I liked them together. The Ward family crumbs are what made the book special.

Actual rating 3.5 stars. Lia is away from her family and following her dreams of studying in Oxford. While sightseeing Lia ends up going into a bar and meeting Jude. After explosive flirting the two end up having a one night stand. A few weeks later Lia finds out she's pregnant and her baby daddy is a professional football star. Now the two have to navigate having a baby together and see if the explosive chemistry they have can last or will wither and burn away. This story was good, but not my favorite. I felt this one was a little more will they won't they, however, it did feel realistic. While this wasn't my favorite Ward sister I still enjoyed it. I do love how close the Ward family is and how they stand by each other through the hard times.

OMG the feels in this book! I absolutely adored every moment of it. There was such a gambit of emotions that ran through you as Jude and Lia navigate what started out as a one night stand to so much more! There is just a seamlessness between these two until things implode in the ways of family. My heart ached for Jude. I felt Lia’s pain as she tried to figure out what she should do next. But one thing is for certain, these two were meant to be together. You could feel that connection bleed off the pages as you read through this story. I really enjoyed this addition to the Ward sisters and I am so looking forward to the next!

Oh man. Lia & Jude’s love story was so great. I love the Ward family. I love how Logan & Paige and all of Lia’s sisters rallied and supported them. I cried so many happy tears! I can’t wait for more Ward Sisters.

I would give this 3/5 stars maybe. My problem with pregnancy trope books is that I like them until they actually find out they are pregnant because the romance part of the book in these books are weird. That’s why I had to stop for a little but I came back. I guess as an American abroad right now I wanted to feel something in this book (I didn’t). I don’t know, I wasn’t really feeling it from anyone, I didn’t really feel like there was actually romance more of just attraction and they rarely shows them together other than them just doing it.

Dnf at 15%. Honestly when he had licked his bottom lip like 4 times in the first 9% I was kind of done. I don’t really like the whole pregnancy trope and did not find lia likeable in the first two books. So this was never going to be for me. On to Isabel’s book

I do not understand any part of their relationship. I don't understand how they fell in love when they hardly talked or saw each other at all, why she pushed him away over a single argument rather than work through it (our problem is we don't talk so let's just do that even less... Solid solution) and why it needed months to resolve with more half ass communication.
It also made a lot of claims of character traits without ever showing the characters having those traits.
Considering the last two books were so good on all these fronts, I'm just so confused.

Even though, this is one of my least favorite tropes, I really enjoyed this book.
Also, I loved the interactions with the rest of the Wards.
