I picked this up to continue the series.
“The Ice Guy and the Cool Girl, Vol. 9” continues to follow Himuro and his colleague, Fuyutsuki. In this volume the pair are finally dating.
I really love how sweet and wholesome this series is. Himuro and Fuyutsuki are such a lovely match for one another and they are just so precious together. I also really appreciate that the author does not allow them to follow into any cliche tropes; they just get to be their sweet, awkward selves.
I will definitely be continuing in this series.

This volume is as cute yet short as all the others. The main relationships are shifting, which changes the overall story somewhat, and I would've rather dwelt more on the forced separation of Fuyutsuki and Himuro. I love me some good angst, so that felt like a missed opportunity to me. I would like to see more introspection given to their relationship as well, instead of exploring the reactions of those around them, but maybe these things are to come.
