Beautiful, clear, easy illustrations. Very personal, engaging, poetic, hopeful text. Thank you.

POWERFUL.
The author of this graphic novel, Katie, get real and raw about her struggle with food and recovery.

In her letter to the reader Green writes:
“You are holding the book I wish had been there for me. It exists because I wanted nobody else to feel as lost, confused, and alone as I felt. I wanted to be honest about how hard recovery is, and how long it takes, at the same tome proving that it is possible.”

It’s going on my shelf of favorites.

A harrowing journey through eating disorders and sexual assault. I only rated it lower because the first part didn’t really captivate me.

One of the heartbreaking and beautiful looks at the effects of shame and need for a sense of control I have ever read. I literally could not stop reading.

This book has very serious topics but it was a beautiful book.

This has to be one of the strongest and most impactful graphic novels I've ever read - if not the most at this point. It tackles very difficult topics but does so in a compelling way hat allows readers to fully understand and identify with the author, even if we'd rather not.
