"From now on, we deal with all of our problems together. As a team." "Together." He nods his agreement, a broad smile stretching across his face and sparking an ember in his eyes. "Always. I fucking promise."

it was different from the usual romance books I came around, in a good way, but at the same time something was lacking for my taste.
the characters felt so real to me, at times I stopped reading because I could see myself in their struggles and problems and yeah I never thought a romance book could give me anxiety lol.
it was so real and I liked it very much but the ending felt too abrupt. everything solves after one or two chapters and most of it off page.. that's something I'm honestly not a fan off.

still, as I said, it was a different kind of romance book and I'll probably keep on reading the trilogy.

Another book read in a single sitting!!! This was amazing and I ate it up. The characters were so much deeper than surface level, and I really appreciated that! There was a brief third act breakup, however it was handled maturely by both characters. I found this series on TikTok and cannot wait to read the rest!

I really enjoyed getting to be a part of Harper and Luca’s journey. Fake dating is always one of my favourite tropes, but it was very refreshing to see their relationship progress naturally. Also, I’m obsessed with the way Harper handles every situation with so much emotional intelligence and is unabashedly herself. I myself have some mental illnesses that make it hard for me to do the same but I’m working towards being more like Harper. Loudly and proudly myself
