Despite the literal Macbeth reference in the title, I didn’t know how high stakes this was until it was over. I’d almost say I was unprepared

Highly recommend… it’s a page-turner throughout, with excellent characters and commentary. From the turning point, it crescendos to an impressive finish you won’t see coming.

Only lost a star due to the occasionally-caricaturish villain. But certainly still worth a read.
