A truly beautiful collection of poems, read aloud by an excellent narrator. Each poem is read twice, so the listener can have an initial impression, then listen again with the goal of understanding the meaning behind each one. It helps that this collection has a guide that gives some background information on each poem so the listener can better understand them. I must disclose that this was part of a read along with other people, and hearing other listener's thoughts enhanced the experience.

It was my first encounter with Keats and his poetry and I'm not sure, but it just might not be my jam.
Alas - the audio version of Audrey was great! I loved the extra material that was provided by our "guide" in the app. I absolutely recommend Audrey if you're into audiobooks and would like to explore the lore of the texts a bit more. Can't stress enough how rich the commentary was.

Fabulously narrated audiobook from Audrey, with narration from Michael Sheen, Samuel West and Sarah Woodward. Michael Sheen in particular has a wonderful voice for poetry with a warmth and richness that really enhanced the atmosphere of the poems.
I don’t usually like the romantic poets but these were lovely and I liked the mythology elements. I enjoyed the format to the audiobook which gives us a second listen of each poem.
My favourites were: La Belle Dame sans Merci and Ode on Melancholy.

This is a lovely edition of Keats' Selected Poems. I liked the structure in particular. Each poem is read twice by the narrator, and there's a link to the poem so that you can also read the text. The structure really prompted me to slow down and take in more of the nuances of the work. I've taken off half a star as I would have liked more of Keats' work to be included.
