Reread it before continuing the series. I liked the story, it's just very short.

I... don't really know how I feel about this one. It's very different from anything I've read before. I was expecting something like A Series of Unfortunate Events but this has a lot less text and a lot more (really good) illustration. But it has a cool concept and I think, if I were a kid, I would have loved it.

Read in practically one sitting.

Great book for people who are fans of the junior fiction and books that are fast to get into and finish.

Great story about a family and the crazy things that may or may not happen in an old creaky house.

Fun overall tale and characters. Highly recommended

I’m feeling pretty poorly so I thought I should return to a childhood favourite. I haven’t read these in probably ten years, but the first book is still just as spellbinding. Just the perfect mix of macabre and fantastical.

I really loved the movie when I was a kid but never read the book so for I would read them and I really did enjoy this even though it was created for kids very intriguing
