Es patiešām nedomāju, ka šī grāmata mani uzrunās tik dziļi un pamatīgi. Brīnišķīgs, sarežģīts, bet pa mazam dzīparam šķetināms, pamatīgs dzīves darbs. Tas nav par to, ko sieviete var vai nevar, grib vai negrib, atļaujas vai aiztur sevī mūsdienu pasaulē, bet gan par to, kurp sauc, ved un aicina sievietes sirdsbalss un būtība. Grāmata un tās autore neko nepasaka priekšā. Caur pasakām, tajos atrodamajiem arhetipiem un vēstījumiem katra pati var veidot savu ceļakarti. Un tad ķerties klāt darīšanai. Priecājos, ka šo grāmatu lasīju tieši tagad, ar šī brīža pieredzi un zinību, nevis pirms sešiem, septiņiem gadiem, kad to nopirku. Patiesi - katrai grāmatai ir savs īstais laiks. Domāju, ka šīs grāmatas ietekme turpināsies un atklāsies visas dzīves garumā.

challenging emotional reflective fast-paced

This reminded me of Ariadne’s Thread. It harkens to the goddess principle and finding your own inner goddess or wildness. It is based on the idea that women have been oppressed, and faced with new freedoms can sometimes go overboard and put themselves in harms way. This book could be considered very loosely as a self improvement or self discovery book. She suggests not to shy away from what is feminine and not to limit what is consider feminine.

This is one of those books where you take what serves you and leaves what doesn’t. I think the most broadly important message is to find a life partner that breathes life into your interests, creativity, and excitement - not one that stifles you.

Otherwise there are a lot of hand picked myths and fairy tales. A lot of the kind of stereotypical woo woo advice. But even in that I was able to find and enjoy and overall message.
