i read because an older woman i respect recommended this. i still respect her but idk about this one
slow-paced

I finally gave this abridged audio another try and really loved so much of the message. I wish the audio was unabridged, but gained a lot from what was available. There's just no other way to read Estes' work. Her voice is its own character in every story she tells. She's lovely.

I just finished Women Who Run with the Wolves.

This poor book looks like it's been through a war or two with me and it did take make a lot of time, more than I expected, because it did trigger me here and there and I had to work through that.

All I can say that I did enjoy this book and if you are into spiritual, witchy stuff, probably you will too.

It was first published in 1992, so there were some thoughts that I disagree with, but most of it is still relevant.

It really is a book about stories and myths and archetypes, ancient Godesses and trials.
