Yeah, absolutely not. Reads like leftist propaganda (no issue with those politics) that is actually a pipeline straight to the alt-right. Author lost me when she past judgment on pregnant people who choose to have a medicated birth and then that childhood trauma is because you were born to the wrong family. Author is literally and I do mean literally stupid.

Loved this book! I enjoyed the fairy tales and old stories / parables and the analysis of each. Really well done.
This is a healing and inspiring book for "wild" woman, celebrating the natural and innate feminine. I enjoyed the myths and stories in the book. The author's commentary reminded me of my college lectures in Women's Studies.
I finally got around to reading this classic text in feminist literature and found it very interesting and a great reminder of how important it is for women to engage with their creativity. I kept putting off diving into the book because of the size (517 pages!) and the dense writing with not a lot of empty space on the pages. Also the cover looks like one of those thick romance novels which I never read, but once I got past my reservations, I found a lot of useful and inspiring content. I especially appreciate the author's advice to "proudly wear the battle scars of our time, write our secrets on walls, refuse to be ashamed, and allow our anger to empower us."

I found the staccato pacing really pleasant.
Also this gave me good moment of introspective about my marriage not working.
