Oh wellll this was a disapointerrrrrrrrr!! I really didn't like Sam but I did like how she didn't take shit from him. She called him out and it was great.
I felt that this book took forever to start and then the end was rushed, I wanted moreeeee! Like what really happened to him and his mom in the end. I DAMN WELL WANTED AN APOLOGY FITTING FOR THE WAY HE TREATED RILEY.

Riley and Sam's story. Has the brother's best friend trop and while not normally a trope I seek out, I loved the way it played out here. Great balance of romance, banter and girl chat to keep it real.

My favorite out of the Stiletto books so far. I was a bit worried about Riley because she's a little blunt. But I ended up adoring her. I liked how she fessed up and then dealt with it like an adult.
