reread review

omg still amazing, still so underrated i don't care what people say rileysam are perfect and their story was good and they're so underrated and for what???
i still think that riley kinda "saving" herself in a way because she has feelings for sam was kinda meh that's the only part im not the biggest fan of but sam is such a beautiful wonderful man who deserves the world and riley oh riley my queen riley was so right for that article and still a queen even with her heartbroken and their "third act breakup" made sense and sam always afraid he wasn't enough and afraid of losing his best friend too idk i loved their book and i liked the little moments between sam and jake and mitchell i needed more but still good still funny and so fast paced!!

"You see, years ago, I fell in love with a girl who was, and is, about a hundred times too good for me. I spent a torturous decade keeping her at a distance when all I wanted was to pull her toward me and ask her to be mine. I tried to lose myself in other relationships, but nobody came close. Nobody will ever come close."

And again Lauren Layne did an amazing job with Riley and Sam!! Idk if they were my fave or GraceJake I'm obsessed with all these characters in this series that idk if i will ever pick a favorite! But this book was a ride and so much fun and again so beautiful and made me love this group of friends even more!
I'm so happy I started this series Lauren Layne put something in her books because I can't get enough!

as much as i loved sam and riley, my favourite part of this book was seeing a more in depth of the stiletto girls dynamic now with emma. i’m so in love with all the girls and am so excited to start emma and alex story

they really do not make lighthearted woman-finding-her-way-in-the-world-and-also-it's-a-romcom type movies anymore >:( WHERE ARE THE GIRLS TRYING TO MAKE IT IN NEW YORK LIKE THIS!!! THE THEATER IS FULL OF CRAP NOW

Riley is the sex writer of our trio - which became a quartet in the last book when Emma, Grace's temporary replacement, joined the team. The small problem is that Riley hasn't had sex in eight years. In fact, she's only had sex once! But she's a great researcher.

For the fiftieth anniversary edition of the magazine the writers have been asked to write something personal and Riley has decided that she needs to practice what she preaches. Only trouble is, she's been in love with her older brother Liam's best friend since she first met him. She decides to put on her big girl panties and ask him to sleep with her - she tells him its for a friends to lover piece she wants to do.

Sam's the sad kid who was half-adopted by Riley's family. Son of an alcoholic mother who has a string of broken marriages and lives in a run down filthy house, he never felt good enough for Liam's family. Sam's mother has told him he was useless for so long that deep down he believes her. He's been in love with his best friend's little sister since he first saw her. But he made a promise to Liam not to touch her, and who'd want a loser like him anyway?

Nuff said. Does what it says on the tin.
