Just One Night was a great read. It was more enjoyable to me than the other books because you have the whole she's been in love with her brother's best friend thing going on and just the two main characters lusting over each other for a span of a decade. Riley and Sam's relationship was exciting to read about. Their chemistry was strong and their friendship was everything. My highlight was the girl talks. The strong female friendships Lauren Layne created are just what makes her books so enjoyable to read. Overall, I'd say this book is my favorite out of the series because I just instantly loved Riley and Sam.

Not going to lie, my favorite thing about this book was the Stiletto women and their friendship. I'm so in love with it and with every single one of them, I honestly don't have the words.
I also must say, that I surprisingly didn't hate the relationship; I just wasn't overly in love with it. I liked their banter at first, but the delicious anticipation of the "will they won't they" just became irritating and frustrating at some point, and Sam went from interesting to annoying. I wasn't a fan of how much Riley had to do, how much she had to fight and all the trouble she had to go through just for him to finally admit that he feels the same for her, and I especially wasn't a fan of how he talked to her sometimes like she was a nuisance. I honestly found myself not caring at some point and just looking forward to the girls' scenes which I'm so glad we got a lot of in this one and which is the sole reason for my 3.5 stars.
I will say however, for me, Mitchell still takes the crown for douchiest douche who doesn't deserve the girl.
I feel the need to mention the other absolute favorite thing of mine in this book which is the gracejake and emmacassidy little goodies! The prior just made me fall even more in love with the couple (who, so far, are still my favorites in the series by FAR!) while the latter made me even more excited to dive into their story next! I have a feeling they just might join grace and jake as my favorites and i just can't to find out more about them!
