Beautiful artwork supports this literary non-fiction story of the owl found in the Rockefeller Christmas tree. The back endpapers include photos of the real owl and Ellen Kalish, the woman who cared for and also the co-author. Great read aloud for the elementary aged set.

Giving an extra star for the notes at the back. The owl is adorable but I didn't love the other illustrations. My animal loving daughter loved this one.
