I very thoroughly enjoyed this trip back to Ankh-Morpork and the Night's Watch! I *always* love the NW books, and this was no exception. It took a little while to really get started for me- but that may well have been because I was going through some difficult personal times pretty simultaneous to starting this. Someday, this is one I should definitely re-read.
The golems, and the ongoing charater arc of Vimes, and Cheri Littlebottom, were definitely my favorite bits of this one.
And next is Hogfather, which is one of the DW books I've heard about for YEARS, so I'm excited to finally experience it!

Female dwarves are way better than male ones! And of course, I still love Angua (so Ms Smallbottom finally found out what she is!).
Sam Vimes is definitely changing for the better very quickly. I quite enjoyed his conversations with Vetinari.
As for Nobby...well you don't have to love every character, do you? It's good to have him in the books though ;)
