When you scared or don't know how to do something, just make a mark and see where it takes you. So inspiring.

I love this author and the illustrations he uses. His colors are what drew me to read all of his books, and of course, each one has a great message for kids.

I shared this with Jacob tonight. He didn't really get the message yet. He did focus on color combinations as he recently read Mouse Paint which also mentioned mixing colors to make new ones.

I share this story with my students on Dot Day in September every year.

This is a cute children’s picture book about a young girl who doesn’t think she is artistic and how a teacher’s simple intervention sparks her creativity.

Such a good book. Art is made in all kinds of ways, and it's a holiday I am happy to keep supporting at my library.
