As a non artist, I LOVE this sweet book. Everyone IS an artist. This is a celebration for the artist in all of us.

I read this delightful book outdoors as a Story Walk at the local library.

Positive. I especially appreciate that it portrays teacher as ally, rather than casting teacher as villain.

Recommended in this article about picture books for teaching social skills.

A little encouragement goes a long way in this lovely picture book designed to show children aged 4-8 that art is subjective and we are all talented in our own way.
Works well as an audio book also (available on Epic)
