The book now seems quite dated and the  room descriptions are US based rather than UK. It is a passionate plea for commitment, evangelistic fervour and uncompromising Christianity, and as such it is inspiring. Aimed at young people (mostly) it is a product of its time (1970’s) so has many casual and cultural sexist stereotypes. It also has the feels of sound bites without any real development. In its favour is its uncompromising stance on witness, holiness, passion and dedication.

It’s a mixture, as such you take the poor with the good and seek to sift.
