Finale di stagione perfetto. Tante trame vengono chiuse; alte rimangono appese ma senza lasciare aperti del loop. Disegnato bene, storia brutale e agro-dolce come al solito.

This is the end of the first story arc--the showdown between Chainsaw Man and the Control Devil--and I am out. I like some of the novelty of this manga series, but I never felt much empathy for the characters, and the climax left me scratching my head with too many "WTF is happening?" moments. The dialogue doesn't explain enough, we just jump from one idea to another. The artwork is good, but a lot of the characters are very similar to each other, and many of the action scenes don't convey the fluid choreography that master artists can bring to a story--very often they seem more like posed snapshots and not cinematic movement.
This feels like it should've been the end but there's more volumes so. I forgot how manga can get weird sometimes, That ending made me go "....I guess!?"
This entire series introduced me to the world of Manga and I am obsessed.
