If every book on thick academic subjects were this interesting and revelatory, well, then I'd probably be reading more books on academic subject. SuperFreakonomics takes the formula established by Freakonomics Jr. of flipping the obvious on its head and rolling with it.
If you're the kind of person who doesn't like having their opinions challenged, you should probably avoid this book. You may not agree with everything at first, but, when you're done, you'll probably be dismissive of children's car seats (but still use them to fit social norms, despite their ineffectiveness).
This is the closest economics will ever come to being sexy. Smart, hip, and full of ideas you just might not have heard before, SuperFreakonomics enlightens and confronts akin to Freakonomics Jr. In a way, it is more of the same, but the same just happens to be an idiosyncratic approach to conquering pervasive problems with novel means.

Well, it seemed like I was listening to the same audiobook as the first one (Freakonomics). It was... good.
the first freakonomics book was good, this was just boring. 2 stars because it helped me get to sleep.
challenging
funny
informative
medium-paced
A collection of factoids spun into different stories. Entertaining, but very smug.

## 📖 My Thoughts
I really enjoyed some of the thinking in this book. The book focussed on many different topics, my fav was the trends in terrorists. I would have liked to have gone into more details, how do we know some of the data? How was it collected/how was it received by peers? This was done sometimes but I wanted more
## ⚠️ Triggers
-Global warming

Not as coherent as freakonomics but still entertaining and educational. The environmental chapter is controversial but rings true that we can't take back the GHG so other solutions are needed. The chapter on prostitution was not as strong but the portion on game theory was well worth reading.
Finally got around finishing this. Feels slow, and the best curve ball coming from the epilogue... Why not earlier!
Not as amazing as Freakonomics but still is one of the best books I read recently.
