This was fast paced, I liked how it got right into the thick of things. Alternating timelines gives you a look into the before and after which worked well with the story. Definitely predictable. I was expecting a bit more. This is an entertaining read but nothing special.

  • Great build up of suspense and tension. 
  • Predictable and unrealistic but I still really enjoyed the ride and it held my interest really well. 
  • The characters, their relationships, and their interactions were pretty cringe but that has a lot to do with it being YA fiction, I’d say, and it was pretty humorous at times honestly. 
  • Very cool how a large chunk of the present day plot takes place in a vehicle (reminded me of Survive the Night by Riley Sager)
  • The dual timeline was very effective for engagement and worked really well here.
