Brooke’s entitlement and always talking about “The Goodwin Way” was super off putting. I know it was a huge part of the book but I still wanted to punch her entitled ass. She’s gonna irritate me for a while

I love that’s not my name and was super excited for no place left to hide. To my surprise I just couldn’t get into it. I didn’t care about the characters or particularly like them. I hope Megan Lally continues to publish more books as I think this particular story just wasn’t for me.

I'm calling it now - Lally is going to be a classic name for the thriller genre. At first, everyone seemed so insufferable, I had no idea how I could relate to anyone. But damn.. this book. It was fast paced, so good, and really points out how messed up and self-absorbed people truly can be. Especially rich people.

Quick paced and full of a hateable characters.  Seriously, I don't think there was one likable one in the bunch. Audio was well done but overall, quite predictable (but probably suitable as a YA).
