Young people facing the most challenging thing what is
dying</spoiler, but still they have a lot of hope, mature view like also young mentality about what happening. They growing up to fast, because they not have a choice and seeing how everything is changing in just one day in they life makes you question your own.

I loved this so much. It was so sad. I was amazed by the way Adam Silvera told you where the book was going.
you knew they were gonna die from the start
but he managed to keep you interested. The ending had me on tears and I hope these two meet again in another lifetime.
This book made me want to believe in reincarnation because this is my OTP

I just finished this book and I didn't want to lol. The title says it all we all know what's going to happen, but somehow while you're reading you don't want it to. I found myself putting the book down and not wanting to come back because I didn't want it to end. But here I am crying on a delayed train because I just finished it and I didn't want it to end.
This is a good read for those dealing with death and grief but please read when you feel you're ready.
I'd say it's helped me release some of my own trauma surrounded death and grief and im really grateful.

This book was a sabotage for a heartbreak since the beginning. I mean even the title explains how the story ends, but we all had that hope that in the end they would somehow someway defeat death. This book was a masterpiece it explained how we should always live life to the fullest in every moment, and to take risks no matter the outcome. This books at its core is a reflection on how everyday people should live their lives. The overall characters and story line and how it ended left me in pieces!

If you love:

-inspiring storyline
-a quick and easy read
-makes you think storyline

My biggest gripe with this book is the forgettability of it and the severe issues of pacing. For only taking place across a single day, the plot feels like it occurs painfully slow. Way too much time is spent with a character just contemplating something.

None of the characters feel that distinct and while you understand each character's motivation I just could not bring myself to care about any of them.

The premise of the world is really interesting but the amount we actually get to explore the world outside of the deckers themselves is incredibly limited. The insertions of different characters didn't flow very well and just felt like padding for the book. Often times they didn't really introduce anything new or really at all connected to the main plot.

I was not at all invested in the relationship aspect or the world. The beginning especially dragged before Mateo met Rufus.

By the time I got to the end of the book I wasn't really sad, I was just happy the book was over.

This kind of book may be for some people, but that does not include me.
