A steamy, well-written enemies-to-lovers romp that is the ultimate guilty pleasure read. If you haven't read Tessa Bailey yet, get out from under that rock you've been hiding under and get busy. (Figuratively.)

Hayden (duchess) she runs charities and Brent (Florence) rigs explosives for the NYPD emergency service unit
Hayden and Brent are story and Daniels best friends!!! They are all waiting for story to arrive to Quincy’s from her first day at work. Hayden and Brent have troubles playing nuce with each other. He thinks she’s too stuck up for him. When story gets there Daniel tells her it’s time to go back to his place and asks brent to make sure Hayden gets home safe. She was ready to shut him down once and for all and starts teasing but he feeds into it. When they get to her house she asks for cuffs to cuff him. They get inside and make out and he tells her he’s not done touching her yet. But had agreed to the cuffs. She sneakily gets them on him. She doesn’t like the power he has with his hands. He ends up eating her out til she cums and tells her to ride him and she’s about to suck him when her doorbell rings. It’s her mother. She tells her mother she’s sick and she can’t come in but after she leaves she’s turned off and thinking about a stupid dinner party. She uncuffes brent and asks him if he’ll go as her body guard tmrw and he tells her if she can get a suit in his size he’ll go with her. The next day she does find a suit in his size and asks where she should drop it off. He gives her the address of the garage he’s at. He had told her he was helping a friend but in all honesty he’s working a second job to try and support his brothers family. While he’s across seas he’s trying to keep the mortgages paid. When Hayden gets there he had told her to stay in her car but she didn’t listen. He gets her a little turned on and kisses her and then she goes. That night Hayden is starting to feel bad and wants to cancel but then brent is there and looks good. He charms everyone. He played her. She thought he’d show up like an ogre but instead he’s the new man crush. Stuart the host is pissed because he wants a piece of Hayden. Brent noticed they’re both missing and finds Stuart trying to pressure Hayden and chases him off. He tells Hayden they’re going to have sex tonight and she agrees and asks for an orgasm and he fingers one out of her just before a couple old ladies walk into the kitchen. When they get back to her house they make out and then she sucks his dick and then they go to her bedroom. She starts off on top until she cums and then he flips her over and milks himself dry. Their sex was

I heart Tessa Bailey and everything about her writing. She has officially ranked herself up there with Kristen Ashley and Jennifer L. Armentrout (a few of my favorite authors.)

This book was filled with hotness all the way around. Hot guy, hot girl, hot scenes, hot everything. I loved the hatred that Brent and Hayden had for each other at first; that hatred made their sexual chemistry light up the pages.

I was never bored in this book, not even for a minute. I started reading at lunch and finished before bed and I can’t say that about most books; that is how appealing the characters, plot, and feelings are.

I can’t wait for her next book that could be the fifth in this series or something new. I know either way, I will love it.

Oh, and Brent’s dirty talk…wowzers!

Tessa Bailey is an absolute master at grumpy heroes, high tension, and sexy stories. Asking for Trouble was a great combination of all of these. Hayden has never been a fan of Brent but when their best friends fall in love these two can't help but continue to run in to each other. But behind their banter and barely disguised dislike is a tension that neither can deny. When Hayden's family runs in to financial trouble only she can save them from ruin but means a sacrifice she never saw coming. Loved the Line of Duty series and these two are hot! Ms. Bailey does a great job of creating an engaging story but also keeping the story smexy as hell. Great read!

After all the sweetness of Forever, Jack, this was exactly what I needed - alpha male, hate turned to lust/love, scorching hot foreplay/sex, just the right amount of drama and not to mention the witty kind of humor that I like.

I don't really have much to say about this book because nothing much happens.

I will however note how Brent is supposedly a explosives expert for the police which never once is relevant. His mechanic moonlighting skills are more relevant than his actual job. Like, what was the point of his job in the book?

Hayden and Brent's best friends are getting married, creating the perfect situation for these two polar opposites to attract. Brent, a ginormous and outgoing explosives expert, and Hayden, a frosty rich girl with a hidden desire for control, finally come together after a night of escalating dares, both stunned by their chemistry.

But, their opposites may prove to be too much to overcome, as both question their feelings and Hayden struggles to choose between her happiness and a loveless arranged marriage that is needed to save her beloved father's company.

Tessa Bailey is the queen of dirty talking heroes, and this audio book is so freaky steamy. I loved it. Sometimes the story veered towards the ridiculous and the ending happened a bit too neatly, but with this level of heat, who really cares. I adored how Hayden and Brent took turns being "in control" in the bedroom, well, wherever they ended up (who knew hallway bench sexy times could be so fun)!

I'm ready for anything Bailey writes!
