Yuta is that dude. The action in this volume was top notch. I just wish we would start reuniting to fight against Kenjaku. These volumes are feeling more like filler if anything since the people our mains are fighting aren’t crucial to the overall storyline. And the whole hunger games plot is kinda strange. But it is still enjoyable regardless and I’m going to keep reading. 😂

the change in scenery definitely helped my tired brain with the understanding of what's going on. i'm very excited for this new arc and i can't wait to see more of yuuta and his feelings. definitely holding high expectations for the next volume.

20 volumes into Jujustu Kaisen, what a wild, exhausting, confusing ride. The way I spent this entire week of April glued to my phone on my couch, on my bed, on the bus, in between classes reading every chance I got. Although it took me a few days to get through this entire volume, I was locked in.
More Culling Game, aka more chapters that feel like filler. It is so nice to see Yuta in action, however, and I was definitely enjoying myself. In terms of these single-serving characters, I like Takako the most.
Also, a chapter summary says, "...Ryu wants to see if Yuta can be the dessert he's been longing for." And I...listen.................👀 never mind.
I think I will like these chapters a lot more when they are animated, especially the final fight in this volume.
