Savage Homecoming by Joshua Dalzelle

In a long series like Omega Force, it's hard to identify any one or two things to call out. However, this story gives you a brief snapshot at the origin of the "Marine" storyline. Dalzelle tells fun stories that are full of action and captures the esprit de corps of close friends who've seen combat. With the way that Jason constantly tries to annoy Twingo and that someone as scary as Crusher still can be friends with someone like Cage.

I definately recommend to anyone who likes military science fiction.
