This was kind of ridiculous-- laughably nonstop action, overly idealized-tough-guy protagonist, etc but I would be lying if I said it wasn't super entertaining. Love anything even tangentially related to the bachelor

Another hit out of the park. Coben does it again. I had all the emotions with the added bonus of “what on earth is going on?” Genius story telling and the story within the story. Brilliant. You feel for Wilde, but desperately need to know what happened too. Five of five stars for me all the way!

Full disclosure, I haven’t read ‘The Boy From The Woods.’ I enjoyed this as a stand-alone, it was a page turner, but it isn’t his best. Still, I would give it a solid 3.5 stars.

I bought this without realising it was a follow on from 'The Boy From the Woods' and read it within a few days. I preferred this book to the first one. Another great book by Harlen Coben
