The next book in my TBR queue looks intense, so instead of starting that I’m reading lots of instalove novellas.
This one had an angsty set up (she blames the mafia boss for the death of her twin sister, he thinks he’s being haunted by his guilt, and somehow they get snowed) but it still ended in the usual steamy instalove territory.
I enjoyed it, but I think I prefer my instalove novellas to be more bananas.

Maybe I need to start reading Russian mob stories. Enjoyed the story minus the stupid breeding kink moment.
Also was happy seeing Atlantic City mentioned. Makes me a happy Jersey girl when things from the state get mentioned in books.
