Super fun entry with lots great appearances of MHA characters!
Makoto is working on merchandising for her clients so we get a reappearance of all the ppl who helped put in Pop’s mall performance from vol 4. It’s hilarious when Koichi just wants more All Might hoodies lol he’s such a dork, but precious when Pop envisions the idea of them matching. Girl is so down bad for him, it’s too cute. Tsukauchi, now knowing Makoto has been working with our vigilantes, is trying to get her to give him their info which she flat out refuses. Also leads to a funny moment: so when he meets up with All Might they brought each other souvenirs (so fucking precious

I wasn’t impressed by this volume, felt like a lot of filler. The undercover mission with Midnight and Pop was weird.

I can't express my love for this side series enough. This volume still has a lot of the lighthearted elements in it and starts off with lighter chapters, but we start getting way more heavy plot elements and density as the volume goes on, especially concerning our mysterious new adversary with the acceleration quirk. I've seen it said that this series was heavily influenced by the graphic novels for The Watchmen and The Dark Knight Returns and honestly, I think that's really starting to show in this volume. I could gush more, but I really think the series should be allowed to speak for itself. Read it, especially if you're already a fan of MHA. It's worth getting to this volume and seeing everything it has to offer, I promise.
