I absolutely adored this, I kept finding myself sounding out the different words and even referring back to the glossary again and again because I read this so quickly I couldn't remember them all lol.

Overall I definitely enjoyed this a ton. If you're looking for some kind of alien romance, and you can handle the subjugation of humankind being a theme in the first half of the book, I bet you'll enjoy this too. (Please don't worry too much, it's taken care of by those in power once the exposition gets going a little)

Elizabeth Stephens has an uncanny ability to blend romance and dark engaging plots in everything she writes. If you are a fan of ice planet barbarians but tend to lean closer to the dark romance genre then she is the author for you. I read this in one sitting and I can’t wait to continue the series.

I'm still new to alien romance, this also being my first where the male aliens were very different physically than humans 😅 that being said I loved all the world building and fated mates aspect. I look forward to reading more in this series ^^
