Not nearly as good as the first two, but certainly an above average read and Discworld is awesome any way you slice it. Has some of the humor and weirdness as the others I’ve read thus far. But since the first two have been top notch, this one was just a tad below those.

This was my first trip into Discworld and I'm glad I started with the Witches. I took the quiz on Discworld Emporium on where to start. It was hilarious and I very much enjoyed how gender roles are explored in real seriousness while also in fantastical and hilarious settings. It also is a great coming-of-age book.

4.5 stars for me because it took me a while to get into it. I loved the hook and the second half, but it took me a little bit to enjoy the setup.

This book felt a little like set-up for other stories, but it's Pratchett so still great.

This'll tide my need for old women protagonists for a while. Granny for president

Delightful. Just the sort of absurdity that I enjoy.
