Big ol' volume of mostly one-page slice of life comics, sort of like American Elf. Charming. I read all 403 pages in one sitting, which is probably a pretty strong recommendation.

It was cute, and they have a great relationship and they make a heck of a lot of comics.

This comic collection is so awesome, I couldn't put it down. I read it in one sitting.
I loved the art and the style that the anecdotes are presented in. It's all so personal, innocent and entertaining. I enjoyed the cat-related comics most of all, as a cat owner I connected to them the most.
I love this one. And I'm looking forward to checking out everything Ananth and Yuko have in store.

Johnny Wander is one a webcomics I've been following for years. I was happy to support them in their kickstarter for this autobio collection.

Do you like reading about other people's lives in comic book form? There are so many to choose from, that are out there. Some are depressing. Some are funny. And some you feel as though they looked in your window and saw the things that you did, and copied them.

But, rather than explaining the cartoons, I am just going to give you a sample, of some of my favorites, so you can get a taste of them.

And yes, some of the ones I best relate to have cats in them. :)

Thanks to Netgalley for making this book available for an honest review.

This collection was included among some "Graphic Novels Starter Pack" genre recommendations, so I added it to my to-read list mostly out of curiosity. I for some reason was expecting an ongoing narrative rather than single-page strips, but I still enjoyed it well enough. There is lots of day-to-day humor and many of Yuko's experiences resonated with both me and my 12-year-old daughter, with whom I also shared the book. We both agreed it would have been improved with even more cats. :)
