I really enjoyed reading this book, but I wish there were some illustrations or other pictures in this book next to the actual essays/paragraphs of the women to make it less academic feeling. I liked the further reading at the end of (almost) everyone woman described in the book.
Side note - some of the descriptions of the women feel a little misogynistic, but I can't put my finger on why exactly.
