Partners in Crime is brilliant! Agatha Christie not only created beautiful mystery cases but built the perfect character interaction between Tommy and Tuppence. I adore them. The way their relationship works is strong and comical. I find myself laughing at the humor imbedded within this novel. SO much so that I went out and bought another Tommy and Tuppence novel 'The Secret Adversary'.

These twenty-three short stories are a great introduction to the husband and wife sleuths, Tommy and Tuppence. They're an adorable detective team and their references to famous literary detectives (Christie even includes a self-referential allusion to "the great Hercule Poirot") gave me a lot of books for my "to-read" shelf. I have the next two books in the T & T series waiting for me, and I can't wait to get into the meatier, novel-length cases.
