Thanks to Valentines PR for selecting me for this ARC. And a HUGE!!! thank you to the wonderful author for writing this amazing book. THANK YOU!!! ❤❤❤

This book was everything I expected PLUS SO. MUCH. MORE. I was here for it and was already living for the characters because of all the teasers Ms. Marni fed us.

The book was incredible and you could see from the beginning that their chemistry was instant, you could see that they were endgame for each other and that they were but of course not without some hiccups. I was shocked when certain things were brought up but I mean they made the book very interesting and that made the plot plot lol.

The family. I love how the family was, how they welcomed Sadie in the circle, even after the fact. I just love this family and I'm super excited for the the rest of the clan.

Overall I give this book a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5. This book had it all, plot and spice and the spice was *chefs kiss* These two were 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵. I wanted more of them and that ending was beautiful and I wanted to see it happen but I know it's gonna be the most fantastic. The book was fantastic. He saw her, wanted her, got her, and kept her.

This series will be tol tier and I can't wait for the rest of the series, and I mean a hockey romance next? YES. PLEASE. Beck Weston I'm ready for you!

I think this is one of the hottest and steamiest first chapters I’ve ever read. In fact I was fanning myself so many times during this book. The opening scene with Hart and Sadie flirting at the bar is pure gold. Marni Mann is a master at the sexy flirty banter.
And holy 5 alarm fire, Batman, the steam in chapter 2 is off the charts!

Lockhart is a serial one-nighter until Sadie walks up to the bar of the hottest restaurant in town. Both are there on a mission to find out what is so special about the new steakhouse. But quickly their focus changes to the sizzling attraction the two have together. And business gets tossed out the window in place of fun, only first names and one night of “I’ve never felt this way before” chemistry. But the yearning is so strong that when they happen, by chance, to see each other at a different restaurant, they can’t deny their chemistry. But both are hiding secrets that could turn their relationship upside down.

The chemistry between these two is so smokin’ hot. Lordy, I blushed! And It’s been a long time since I’ve read a book with this much sexual tension. It is superb! This romance has a well-developed plot and fully flushed out characters. I found the twists and turns kept me hooked. Oh, the deceptions are going to get Sadie in some trouble.

Am I the only one who thinks that a future book will be Walker and the head chef at Horned, his competition restaurant? Is it just me? Hmmm theories abound! A solid 5 star read and one of my top romances so far of 2025

Love Lockhart Weston he was perfection sweet loving and of course arrogant!
Sadie met Lockhart at a bar while she was working and he was working they had an instant connection
Their chemistry was off the charts and Marni had my mouth watering from all this food talk

The Arrogant One is book one is Marni's new series, The Weston Group and what a delicious start it was!! Marni brings the heat and drama with this one and I loved it!

Hart is arrogant and cocky and doesn't do relationships but from the moment he lays eyes on Sadie everything changes. They both are keeping secrets from each other but the more time they spend with each other the bigger the lies become. Hart and Sadie have some serious chemistry and the spice is so dang hot!! I loved the story line and the drama was just right!! I enjoyed the Weston siblings and there family dynamic!! Sadie was such a fun character and her hidden identity was so intriguing!! Even with the secrets and the hidden identity I thought that Hart and Sadie had amazing communication, especially at the end when the truth finally comes out. They worked through it beautifully! This was a great start to this new series and can't wait to follow along with the rest of the Weston family!

-Billionaire
-One Night Stand
-Hidden Identity
-He Falls First
-Playboy

Thank you Marni for this ARC!

I absolutely LOVED this book and am so excited for the rest of this series!  Marni doesn’t disappoint on the spice and I love the chemistry that Hart and Sadie have from the first time they meet!  While both of them are initially hiding some secrets, I did enjoy how it added to the suspense in their relationship and love how they worked through them together when they come out.

Audiobook:
This is dual narration performed by Vanessa Edwin & Aiden Snow and it was absolutely amazing!  They both did a fabulous job at portraying the emotions and bringing the story to life! Would definitely recommend listening!

What to Expect:

The Arrogant One by Marni Mann is a fun and spicy romance. If you’re looking for an easy reading and light romance with no third act breakup, make sure to check this one out!

The pages just flew by! I started it late one evening and, the next time I picked my head up, I realized I was already a quarter of the way through it. Sadie and Hart are both such likable characters. He’s the arrogant billionaire restaurateur, along with his brothers and sister. I love the family dynamic there. He also has such a soft side with Sadie! And Sadie is such a fun character, along with her secret identity as a top food influencer. And, wow, did all of this make me wish these were real restaurants that I could go eat in!

Overall, I really enjoyed this one. The tension throughout kept me hooked, the spice was nice, and I couldn’t help but hope for Hart and Sadie to have the perfect happily ever after in the end. I also loved the mentions of characters from her other books and series.

A restaurant owner and a very well-known (but anonymous) food influencer, Dear Foodie, hit it off at a restaurant they are both checking out one evening (he’s checking out the competition)… a one night stand leads to so, so much more!

Hart (Lockhart) Weston’s story is the first in the new Weston series from Marni Mann, one of my very top favourite, one-click authors. It started with intrigue from Hart and Sadie’s meet-cute at the restaurant door, through their interaction in the restaurant bar, and straight through their evening together - all the way to re-meeting again and not being able to tell each other who they really are, because of their jobs.

So much happening throughout this one that’ll make you squirm, with all of the half-truths told, but it is oh, so good … unlike many other books in similar situations when not telling full truths or lying makes you want to throw a book across the room. How when things were revealed, the reactions were handled? Chefs kiss!

Mann is such a brilliant storyteller that I never wanted this one to end - I cannot wait for book 2 and Beck’s story! We also had some cameos or mentions  of other beloved previous series characters - love that!

Thank you to the author and Valentine PR for the advance copy. This is my honest review.

This is an ALC review. This was my first book by Marni Mann. The story kept me stressed until about 75-80% in. It was keeping me laughing and stressing the whole time. It was also quite spicy and literally started off with a "bang." I also enjoyed the sibling dynamics and can't wait for their stories as well. The narrators did a great job. I could hear the emotion and feelings of the characters in the voices. Would recommend

This is my first Marni Mann book and I think it won't be my last. I have been seeing her books all over social media but have not had the chance to pick one of her books up until I got this ARC.

This is the first book in this new series featuring siblings and their love stories. The Arrogant One is aptly named about the most arrogant out of all the siblings, Hart. The Westons are siblings who own a string of restaurants and clubs. On one of his "undercover" dinners to a competing restaurant, Hart meets Sadie. They hit it off right away and ended up having a ONS. Hart feels that instant connection so this book is truly an insta-anything (instalust, instalove, insta-attraction). This is something I normally disliked in books but I think it was done alright. Hart is a playboy and have always had ONS but Sadie is different. They ended up meeting up again and was inseparable after that. They developed their relationship and got to know each other until it turned to love. The main conflict in the book is the big secret that gets revealed in the book. I honestly didn't think it was a big deal but I understand it drove the plot. Besides this, I thought the book was an easy read and pretty low stakes. The side characters were great. I cannot wait for the rest of the siblings' books and what's in store for them. The book was a great introduction to each of their personalities and it made me look forward to reading more.

Overall, I thought it was good. I recommend it if you are looking for a fluffy but super spicy romance that can get you out of a slump. Such an easy read but also have some meat to it.

Thank you to Valentine PR for giving me an eARC of this book in exchange for my honest thoughts.

Marni Mann knows how to deliver a swoon-worthy story!

Hart and Sadie are a wonderful couple. The Arrogant One is what Hart is known as in the inner circles.  He is one of the famous Weston siblings, but his face is not well-known publicly.  The Westons are hospitality royalty.

Sadie loves food so much that she is a food influencer.  Her reach is phenomenal; when she recommends a restaurant, be sure there will be a wait list to get in.

A one-night stand between them leaves them still thinking about the other and regretting not getting more information about each other.

This is book one in the series, and it was so good. I can't wait to read the others.
