I read this via Audiobook and the narrators are brilliant and suit the characters so well. Hart and Sadie are on opposite sides of their professions. Secrets. Spice. Forbidden love. Funny. Oh and the arrogance is definitely there! I loved this story so much!! The banter is fantastic.

I loved this! It’s my first book by Marni and it will absolutely not be my last (especially now that I know which Weston sibling is next)!
I think what I actually enjoyed most was that this starts out from Hart’s POV. I think in the end it’s a close to equal number of chapters for him and Sadie, but it just felt different than when we start with the lady and I liked it.
As for the characters, I loved Hart and Sadie of course, but I also loved the crew around them! I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the interactions and getting some peeks into their personalities. The story was easy to follow but very interesting as I wasn’t exactly sure how all the secrets were going to shake out. It was refreshing to see the tables turned as far as who was having to fix their mistake, but I appreciated that the outcome was believable in that it was handled maturely l and in the end, both characters embraced their feelings and put their relationship first.
PS. Make sure to snag the bonus epilogue once you finish! It’s SO cute and Hart literally thought of EVERYTHING Sadie would need, for personal every day use and for when she’s working 👀

Oh this book! It is a sinfully slick, billionaire romance soaked in tension, attitude, and unrelenting heat. It starts off so strong—like first-chapter-squirming strong—and never lets up. He’s cocky, commanding, and downright irresistible. She’s fiery, sharp-tongued, and doesn’t take an ounce of his bullshit… but damn if she doesn’t want to take him.
The banter? Sharp. The chemistry? Molten. The spice? Unapologetically filthy. And yes—this book actually has a plot! A good one at that.
I low key want what they have. That intensity. That pull. That “my body is yours” kind of surrender that only happens when the tension boils over and explodes across the page.
Read it with a glass of wine, baby… and maybe a toy nearby. You’ll need it. Trust me.
