Hoopla Audio. I legit am confused by the high ratings on this book. The sex was great but soooo much. And not panty melting for me. And the love was instant. Just not a fan

FMC: Sadie Spencer
MMC: (Lock)Hart Weston
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Pages: 376
Tropes: One Night Stand, Secret Identities, Billionaire Romance, He Falls First, Low Angst, Reformed Playboy
Setting: Los Angeles, CA
Thoughts: I liked this more than I thought that I would. I still found myself just wanting Sadie to tell Hart the truth, but it added to my need to keep reading. There were so many times when I thought “okay, this is it, no way can Sadie not tell him now” only for her to keep her secrets piling up. I really liked Hart’s quick turn from one-night stands to falling hard for Sadie. I loved the Weston family group chat and the way they interacted. I loved Sadie’s close friends and her guilt over not being truthful. The chemistry between Sadie and Hart was eclectic and I really liked how they dealt with problems as they arose. Although I hated it, I did understand Sadie’s reasoning for keeping her secrets, she did a great job of explaining everything to Hart, I just wish she’d done it sooner. This was a fun introduction to the Weston family, and Sadie got in flawlessly with Hart and his siblings.
Love this continued story line of the spade hotel characters

Marni Mann has done it again! With The Arrogant One, as she serves up a sizzling, multi-layered romance that I couldn't put down.
As Hart Weston is tasked by his overworked chef brother to discreetly evaluate a rival steakhouse named Horned. But instead of focusing on work, he finds himself ensnared by the gorgeous Sadie a self-proclaimed good-girl with a daring spark, who's ready to break free from her usual routine for just one wild night that promises both excitement and lots of O's.
But what begins as a one-night stand leaves them both yearning for more and when fate has them collide once again the air crackles with unresolved passion. The magnetic chemistry between them is palpable, igniting a slow burn that transforms their initial encounter into a whirlwind romance neither of them could have anticipated.
And I absolutely adored the family dynamics, the electric tension and the witty banter. Not to mention the fabulous supporting characters. That helped bring the story to life and I absolutely loved how open and honest Sadie and Hart were with each other when it came to what they wanted.
And honestly, I devoured every single page of The Arrogant One and can't wait for more! So, if you pick up just one new release this week, make it The Arrogant One. As you really won't be sorry you did.
My thanks to Marni Mann and Valentine PR for the opportunity to read The Arrogant One. All thoughts expressed are my own. ☺️
