Oh My Gawd!!!!! I’m officially in love with Lockart Weston and the Weston family. I’ve been dying for their series since they popped up in The Spade Hotels series.
I’m a sucker for books about restaurants and food. You’d think with what I do for a living I would want to avoid them, but I’m just drawn to them. I love the restauranteur prospective, and I never object to a good billionaire romance. The food critic aspect is a fun twist instead of just reading about out the creation of the restaurant or the staff.
I love Hart and Sadie together. They are the cutest and I love that they both fall for each other easily, even if there are obstacles between them thanks to Sadie’s job. The spice is amazing. Marni really knows how to write those spicy scenes.
How on earth am I going to wait for The Wildest One?!?

DNF after 30%. I hardly ever DNF a book but this was that shitty. Probably the dumbest smut I’ve ever read. If my 30 year old friend/sister disappeared for 15 min in the middle of dinner and when she came back to the table said she was just fucked in the back of the alley, with a guy who’s last name she doesn’t even know, I would be VERY concerned and also disgusted. I’d be asking her to maybe reschedule dinner with us since she was preoccupied??
