Паланик с мясом выдрал тормоза и пустился во все тяжкие, от души добавив сюрра и наркомании. И это уже по сравнению со второй частью. Разумеется, никакой вменяемой концовки с таким зачином получиться не могло, но по пути было весело. Плюс как всегда шикарный арт и обложки, а учитывая в третьей части Паланик откровенно экономит на диалогах, арт и вовсе выходит на первый план.
И тем не менее, мне понравилось. Жаль, что полного издания в харкавере, как у второй части, на русском нет, не отказался бы поставить на полку.

Another "meh". It was too weird. Nothing made much sense. I couldn't tell what was real or what was metaphoric.

Genuinely horrible.
With some supposedly bad books, you at least want to go through them slowly and analyze them for yourself.
There's nothing to analyze here.
It's simply fucking garbage.
Why was this created I have no idea.
I think it was intended to be bad, but that doesn't redeem it.
Look, I like Chuck's work (at least Fight Club and Consider This), but this is garbage.
I'll stick to the novels for now - they may not be as visual, but they certainly have to make at least some coherent sense.
