Another delightful Cupcake Bakery Mystery, even complete with recipes. This is the latest in her series. I hadn't realized I missed some of her books in the interim, and so the story line (marriage and baby) took a bit of a jump. Heading back to read some of the earlier ones I missed.
In this story Shelby, a friend of Angie's from back in the day, was in town to do some events. As the story unfolds her agent, the second one, was killed. The search for the killer was on. Add to this not only were the Angie and Mel team tasked with providing cupcakes for Shelby's several events, but Mel also pulled Christmas Dinner duty for a large number of the clan on both sides. It was fun going back and forth with the various issues. The ending was a little surprising, although it became apparent who was the likely culprit, along with someone she had recruited. To a certain extent, it was sad that Cheryl was so fixated that she did what she did.
All in all, a satisfying cozy mystery.

A sweet treat that made me wish it were the holidays. I really enjoyed this book. My only complaint is that I figured out who did it way too early. It’s okay, I still had a great time reading how we got to the answer.
