This little novella of Drue and Talemir was just what I needed after finishing the Thezmarr series. I have some issues with the plot, but I had the same problem with the other books. Either way, the banter between Tal and Drue was so good, I kept wanting more.

Who doesn’t want a shadow daddy that reads romance books and has witty charm? ❤️’d it!

Excited to start Iron and Embers to see the next love story unfold!

This was a-ok, I struggled following along in the beginning, but the story did pick up, so I’m second-guessing my 3 stars but I’ll leave it. I realized after finishing this that I never finished the rest of the Thezmarr series and this makes me want to go back and finish!

The narrators were great, and it was a relatively quick listen for me!

After reading the legend of thezmar series before this one I think has impacted the way I feel about this one as I do believe this is meant to be read after book 2.
I do like the FMC and MMC but I wasn't that invested in it as I knew the outcome from reading the last 2 books. And honestly found myself wanting to skip ahead in parts.
