This book is cute. It's a nice, short, summer read. I really loved that Lola Tung, who stars as Belly in the TV series, is the narrator of the audiobook. I have only recently started watching the TV series and I mainly decided to listen to the audiobook because it was free on Audible until the middle of August. Is it the most thrilling book I have ever read? No, but it's a cute read. I didn't love it, but I definitely didn't hate it. As YA Teen romances go, it was cute. I wouldn't be against reading the next two books. It is very different to the TV series though, which is very understandable, but just be aware of that if you are someone who likes the TV series to be very similar to the book, this isn't for you. I haven't finished season 1 of the TV series yet so I'm interested to see what else they take from the book and what they change.

This was a reread. I first read the two first books in 2018 and I remember them having a special place in my heart but couldn’t remember them. So it was only fitting for me to reread so I can watch the new show..;) According to Goodreads I gave the book 4 stars back in 2018, this must mean it has grown on me cuz this is a strong 5/5!! I cried. I laughed. I smiled. I was so angry at times. This is the PERFECT summer beach read and I’m a little sad I didn’t read it at my summer house but oh well
