It took me almost 2 months to decide I will NOT be finishing this one. I'm just bored with it tbh, and for some unknown reason, Sloane just annoys me! 😑 I actually like Dominic, but there aren't enough chapters from his POV for me. And while I want to find out the reason why Sloane doesn't remember their first night together in college, I don't want to find out bad enough to risk going into a book slump... It's a shame because the author's writing is genuinely beautiful and very descriptive, but it's just not working for me rn.
It's totally me, and not the book. So maybe I'll pick it back up at a later date! 🤷🏾♀️

This book was an emotional roller coaster. Knowing more than the characters about each other do can be frustrating when they won't just communicate, but I understand the reasoning behind that. I loved this romance. -.25 stars for the miscommunication trope.
Definitely a page-turner and bold premise (considering late partner’s bestie)
